Featured this week are these 50-100 year old Nepalese 'wedding beads” which we've had in our private collection for 14 years. I remember this well as my now nearly 15 year old was just a tiny baby thankfully not quite crawling so I was able to sort our new shipment of beads out without too much interference.
These tiny strands of glass beads originally made in Cheq republic and traded with Nepalese and Tibetian people. They were worn by the women to indicate their married status.
These resplendent, radiant chartreuse,
|citrine colours are exactly what we need to brighten our summer outfits.
We have more in our collection if the three showcased here are not quite the right shade! Please contact us for private viewings.
