Planet Dungog

An attention grabbing advertisement in the local rag caught my eye
“Planet Dungog!”
Hey feel the love for festivals and love LOCAL festivals at that!
Dungog got hit hard in the storms but they rallied together and decided to run the festie anyway.
As already mentioned I love festies, so though-why not volunteer (Volley) and get involved, meet peeps and see what’s on @ Planet Dungog!
what a pleasure!-there were 6 or 7 venues around a small walking distance-the cafes hadt free entry and were jam packed!
The lovely old James theatre was open for blues, soul, funk and git down and dirty stuff with the Ol Guits from my hometown Taranaki in New Zealand.
Wandering the streets, I wondered where the flood line must have reached- Settlers Arms is going off , a well restored beautiful old country pub, rocking to the rafters and oh so much fun.
Its great to see the local area blossom with festivals and look forward to frequenting, volleying at them and everyone having a right royal time in the future!
Watch out for the Port Stephens/Hunter Valley festival circuit!
